Scholarship
Grades are an extremely important aspect of the sorority. We are constantly striving for academic success. Therefore, we maintain specific grade requirements for each of our girls.
Greek Scholar of the Year
Every year at the Greek Awards Banquet, one sorority member and one fraternity member are selected from those who were nominated by the different sororities and fraternities on campus. The 2014 Greek Scholar of the Year was our sister and president Brittany Michael.
Study Nights
We have study nights twice a week at the house where the girls can get together to study, have tutoring sessions, and do homework with the company of sisters.
Scholarship Banquet
Every semester, the girls who receive GPAs of 3.0 or higher are honored at a Scholarship Banquet. They receive certificates and pearl dangles for all of their hard work, and they are also treated to a nice meal made by alumnae.
Order of Omega
Order of Omega is a Greek Leadership Honor Society, and every year one or more of our sisters are inducted into this society. The purpose of this organization is to "To RECOGNIZE those fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership in interfraternity activities, to ENCOURAGE them to continue along this line, and to INSPIRE others to strive for similar conspicuous attainment; To UNITE outstanding fraternity men and women to create an organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate fraternity affairs; To BRING TOGETHER members of the faculty, alumni, and student members of the institution's fraternities and sororities on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness; To help CREATE an atmosphere where ideas and issues can be discussed openly across Greek lines and to help work out solutions."
